Steve Sourapas drives today and wins the weekend race over BJ Baldwin by 47 seconds! Andy McMillin crossed the line in first on Saturday, first in the Corona Beer Trick Truck.

McMillin DRIVES to BITD Parker #1 Qualifier
Parker, Arizona (October 14, 2010) Reigning terror in the #6 Corona Extra Trophy Truck, Andy McMillin drove through the Parker, Arizona desert the fastest in qualifying for the Best in the Desert BlueWater Desert Challenge race. Driving the Geiser Brothers built truck owned and raced by Steve Sourapas, the young San Diego off road racing veteran drove the cleanest lines on the track to earn the top spot on the pole position for this weekends 2-day multi-race format.
"We ran a smooth qualifying and the crew gave us a near perfect truck. We have been testing this truck with the Sourapas crew and have made some changes to the suspension setup and it has definitely made a difference. Todd Tenbroek from FOX Racing Shox is my co-driver and he's been working hard at perfecting Steve's truck and its working very good. We tried to run fast and smooth and make smart decisions in the deep sand and it paid off," said Andy McMillin.
This new race is an exciting 27 mile loop around the Parker, Arizona desert while racers from different classes will battle for the win each of the 2-day racing format.
Finishing in the runner-up position was Pistol Pete Sohren. Driving the #2 MAXXIS Truck, Pistol Pete was able to give Andy McMillin a run for his money with his massive 40-inch MAXXIS tires.
Rounding out the top three was Las Vegas racing phenom, Ballastic B.J. Baldwin driving on the General Tire brand. Baldwin charged the #97 race truck around the qualifying loop roaring his massive 875 horsepower motor to earn the third spot in the qualifying effort.
Another Las Vegas racer, Bryce Menzies, qualified in the 4th position in his Geiser-built race truck that features Kroyer Racing Engines.
