HENDERSON 400 Best In The Desert Race

HENDERSON FABTECH “400”. . . ON SCHEDULE FOR
DECEMBER 2008 IN HENDERSON, NEVADA

Henderson, Nevada remains the headquarters for the Henderson’s Fabtech “400” in December of 2008, as we welcome Fabtech as the new title sponsor, it was announced jointly today by Bud Pico, Program Manager for the City of Henderson’s Cultural Arts & Tourism Department, and Casey Folks, Director of Best in the Desert Racing Association.

“I am pleased to announce the continuation of the Henderson’s Fabtech “400”, set for Henderson, Nevada in December of 2008,” stated Casey Folks. “Thanks to the efforts of the City of Henderson, this race is alive and well! Fabtech is our new official suspension and Henderson Fabtech “400” race sponsor this year, and we are quite enthused about returning to Henderson, one of the great Nevada cities hosting this race for Best in the Desert racers and their families.

Look for a spirited, exciting course, marked with scenic but tough terrain, sure to challenge racers
and their teams. Tech and contingency for this great race runs right through the historic Water Street district in downtown Henderson, as it becomes the mecca for racers, crew and spectators.” Bud Pico said, “We are always honored to host the Best in the Desert Racing Community each and every December, and 2008 is no exception. With our location just minutes from the glitter of the Strip, and our proximity to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and Lake Las Vegas, Henderson is the perfect location for visitors, and racers alike.”

The next Best in the Desert race is the Terrible’s “250” at Primm, set for April 17-20, 2008. There is a great racing schedule planned for this race, and because Best in the Desert always keeps safety in mind, the slower classes will run in the morning; faster vehicles in the afternoon.
